A day after the explosion in Beirut, Lebanon now another tragedy in the middle east. A major fire has broken out at the Ajman Market in the new industrial area of Ajman. The time was about at around 6.30 pm on Wednesday (6 August 2020). The fire is believed to have started at the Iranian souq in the emirate, but it’s not confirmed. The souq was closed for several months due to Covid-19.
Ajman Market Fire
The souq, which is home to dozens of traders, is a popular attraction in Ajman Market. Souq draws many visitors from across the Emirates. Rajab Elsawi, who owns the Khadem Fresh Meat store opposite to the souq, said he alerted emergency services after he saw a thick blanket of black smoke develop.
A fire broke out in the famous Ajman market in the UAE. The flames in the new industrial zone can be seen from afar. Massive destruction and damage are being feared. The cause of the fire is unknown. Please keep UAE in your prayers too alongside Beirut.
