Aam Olas Episode 70
In this episode of Aam Olas, Yousaf Jan Utmanzai visited a house near the city railway station; Peshawar Where the situation is devastating. This house belongs to Aslam who is the elder brother of five siblings and who is performing the whole responsibility. Aslam has five siblings as mentioned above, three brothers and two sisters. The three brothers are addicted to cocaine and the two sisters are mentally disabled. Such narcotics addicts’ quantity is increasing and a stop should be put to that before the whole generation is affected and the government and the concerned departments should take some action.
The house Yousaf Jan Utmanzai visited, there resides 6 siblings and out of 6, only one is normal. The remaining are either drug addicts or mentally disabled. While Yousaf Jan Utmanzai was visiting two of the brother of Aslam ran away and only one remained whom Yousaf Jan Utmanzai interviewed and his name is Shawkat, who is a father to one daughter. Shawkat is tired of his addicted life and wants to change his life but for the treatment, they don’t have enough money.
Aslam the elder brother of the siblings said that the narcotics dealer sells the drugs openly and the police are not stopping them neither the narcotics department which seems that all of them are on the same page and are destroying our homes and many others.
