In this episode of Aam Olas, Yousaf Jan Utmanzai visited Kumrat valley to put forth the beauty and to show the condition of people and infrastructure of the area. When we look into the landscape of Pakistan, you will see the natural beauty that few of the countries in the region possess but again there comes the incompetence of the government. The roads are rough, the health sector is devastated, the literacy rate is low or in short, the whole infrastructure has collapsed and the government does not bother to solve the problems the resident of the area are facing, even the tourist.
In this visit to Kumrat valley, Yousaf Jan Utmanzai first showed the problems that people in the area are facing. He also interviewed some of the residents of the area and asked for the problems they are facing and they all mentioned the same above problems that the roads are rough it takes hours to take a patient to the hospital, one said, a few days back a young girl died because of bad road, some of them even said that here in Kumrat and in the villages nearby there are two possibilities when you get sick, first, you will die because here in Upper Dir Kohistan we have no hospital and the roads condition is so bad that it would take hours to reach to the hospital in the nearest area because of which majority of the patients dies on the way before reaching the hospital and in the second case if you get better by yourself you will live.
Yousaf Jan Utmanzai asked questions regarding the problems in the area especially about the road from a political person of the area, he said that I have done what I could for the area but the problem lies in the concerned departments and also the provisional government is not providing the founds. There are problems in the area but still, if you love nature go and visit Kumrat valley, it worth’s visiting at least once.
