In this episode of AamOlas, Yousaf Jan Utmanzai interviewed a transgender. Trans genders is a deprived community in almost every society. The term transgender is used for those individuals of a society whom from birth is different from the common sex like women and man due to their physical appearance. When we look into the history and also in the present transgender are being kept deprived of almost ever basic facilities even their families abundant them and for survival and to live a livelihood they would do anything from dancing to prostitution. Because of deprivation they are not able to get the education and thus they are kept in the dark especially in the third world country and also somehow in the 1st and 2nd world countries.

The transgender which Yousaf Jan Utmanzai interviewed in this episode is not just a common layperson but an educated one. The nickname of this transgender is Chocolate. Chocolate is an educated transgender and is doing a specialization in finance and accounting. According to her, it’s really hard for a transgender to get a stable life as they are the most deprived community of the society who are facing all atrocities. Each day they face violence and there are none to stand on their side. Even recently our fellows were beaten-up and yet there is no lawyer that can take our case and proceed in the court. Chocolate also said that she is one of the 3-4% of educated transgender out of 100%.which is indeed a great achievement.



One of a question asked by Yousaf Jan Utmanzai regarding her future plans, on which Chocolate replied that she is interested in going abroad to get some job over there, to get some livelihood and that she is not interested in her old profession rather she wants an honorable profession to be perused in the future.
